英文....	Any or all of those processes involved in the manufacture of leather or rawhide that follow curing and precede tanning or tawing of skins or hides. The objective is to rid the skins or hides of substances not wanted in the finished leather, and to put them in the proper chemical and physical condition for tanning or tawing.
荷蘭語....	Enige of alle processen die bij de productie van leer of ongelooide huid volgen op het verduurzamen en voorafgaan aan het looien of witlooien van vellen of huiden. Op deze manier worden de vellen of huiden ontdaan van stoffen die niet in het afgewerkte leer mogen zitten en zijn ze in de juiste chemische en fysieke staat om ze te looien of te witlooien.
西班牙語....	Procesos implicados en la fabricación del cuero en verde, que sirven para curar las pieles o broncearlas. El objetivo es librar las pieles de las sustancias no deseadas en el cuero ya acabado, y ponerlas el producto químico apropiado para darle a la piel condiciones físicas para el siguiente proceso.
