安圭塔力亞瓶 unguentaria
範圍註 ：
可能是用來盛裝軟膏或香水的容器。在約旦南部佩特拉（Petra）發現的早期陶製品大約於西元前四世紀製造，屬於傳統的希臘紡錘形瓶，不過從西元前一世紀開始，這種形式完全被各種長頸圓肚或橢圓肚的形式取代，新的類型變化多且很明顯地具有比較標準化的規格。根據在佩特拉發現的安圭塔力亞瓶的數量可推知此種容器應是在當地製作，其製作可能與沒藥及其他納巴泰人（Nabataean）用來交易的軟膏有關，此外在西方遺址亦可發現其蹤跡，後來在阿拉伯半島的許多地區皆有人製作玻璃材質的梨形安圭塔力亞瓶。

| 英文.... | Containers probably used to hold ointments and perfume. Early ceramic examples found at Petra (probably 4th-century BCE) were in the typical Hellenistic form of the spindle bottle, but this form was later completely replaced by a series of high-necked types with round to ovoid bodies of varying and apparently standardized forms (from the 1st century BCE onwards). The number of unguentaria found at Petra suggests that they were made locally; their manufacture would have been linked to the myrrh and other unguents that the Nabataeans traded. They have also been found at western sites. Pear-shaped glass unguentaria were later made at various locations in the Arablian peninsula. |
| 荷蘭語.... | Houders die waarschijnlijk werden gebruikt voor zalf en parfum. Vroege keramische voorbeelden die zijn gevonden in Petra (waarschijnlijk uit de 4de eeuw v. Chr.), hadden de typische hellenistische vorm van de spindelfles, maar deze vorm werd later volledig verdrongen door een aantal typen met een lange hals en een ronde tot eivormige buik met verschillende en blijkbaar gestandaardiseerde vormen (vanaf de 1ste eeuw n. Chr.). Het aantal in Petra gevonden unguentaria doet vermoeden dat ze ter plaatse werden gemaakt; de productie zal hebben samengehangen met de mirre en andere zalven die de Nabateeërs verhandelden. Ze zijn ook op meer westelijke vindplaatsen aangetroffen. Op verschillende plaatsen op het Arabisch schiereiland werden later peervormige glazen unguentaria gemaakt. |
