英文....	In Mahayana Buddhism, one who attains the enlightenment of a Buddha but chooses to postpone entering nirvana and instead stays in the world for the compassionate purpose of helping lesser beings attain enlightenment. In Theravada Buddhism, the term is exclusively used to identify historical Buddhas in their previous lives.
荷蘭語....	In het mahayana-boeddhisme iemand die de verlichting van het boeddhaschap bereikt maar ervoor kiest het betreden van het nirwana uit te stellen en in plaats daarvan in de wereld blijft met het barmhartige doel om mindere wezens te helpen de staat van verlichting te bereiken. In het theravada-boeddhisme wordt de term uitsluitend gebruikt om te verwijzen naar historische Boeddha’s in hun vorige levens.
西班牙語....	En Budismo Mahayana, aquel que logra la iluminación de un Buddha pero que escoge posponer la entrada en nirvana y en cambio se queda en el mundo con el propósito altruista de ayudar a seres menores a alcanzar la iluminación. En Budismo Theravada, el término se usa para identificar Buddhas históricos exclusivamente en sus vidas anteriores.
