英文....	Small, reddish-brown flower bud of the tropical evergreen tree Syzygium aromaticum. It yields oil which is used as an antiseptic and a flavoring, and is dried and ground into an aromatic spice. The ground flower is also used as a means of organic pest control.
荷蘭語....	De bloemknop van de Indonesische groenblijvende boom Eugenia caryophyllata. De olie van de kruidnagel wordt gebruikt als antiseptisch middel en smaakstof, en in gedroogde en gemalen vorm om voedsel te kruiden. De gemalen bloem wordt ook gebruikt als milieuvriendelijk verdelgingsmiddel.
