英文....	Refers to hand sewing characterized by the simplicity of the stitches and by its application, which is primarily for the construction of clothing and the finishing of household textiles. It is distinct from sewing used to create designs, such as embroidery. Plain sewing generally may include basic stitches, such as running stitches, back-stitching, hemming stitches, and seaming stitches, as well as simple embellishments to these basic stitches.
荷蘭語....	Verwijst naar handwerk dat wordt gekenmerkt door de eenvoud van de steken en door de toepassing, namelijk primair voor het maken van kleding en het afwerken van huishoudtextiel. Te onderscheiden van handwerken die zijn bedoeld voor het maken van patronen, bijvoorbeeld borduurwerk. Onder nuttige handwerken worden onder andere verstaan eenvoudige steken, zoals rijgsteken, zoomsteken en naadsteken, alsmede eenvoudige varianten op deze basissteken.
西班牙語....	Se refiere a la costura a mano caracterizada por la simpleza de las puntadas y por su aplicación, que es principalmente para la elaboración de prendas de vestir y el acabado de textiles de menaje. Es distinto de la costura usada para crear diseños, tales como el encaje.
