英文.... | Oval wooden or metal face masks made and used by the Senufo people of northern Côte d'Ivoire, southern Mali, and southwestern Burkina Faso. Representing the female element, these masks are generally slightly smaller than life-size. They are ornamented with sets of geometric projections that flank the crown of the head, upper face, and mouth, diagonal scarifications on each cheek, and sometimes a set of vertical horns. |
荷蘭語.... | Ovale houten of metalen gezichtsmaskers, gemaakt en gebruikt door het Senufo-volk in het noorden van Ivoorkust, het zuiden van Mali en het zuidwesten van Burkina Faso. Deze maskers, die het vrouwelijke element voorstellen, zijn in het algemeen iets kleiner dan levensgroot. Ze zijn versierd met reeksen geometrische projecties die de bovenzijde van het hoofd, het bovenste deel van het gelaat en de mond flankeren, diagonale insnijdingen op elke wang en soms twee verticale hoorns. |
