瘋狂喜劇 screwball comedies
範圍註 ：
主要描繪男女間的搞笑鬥爭的美國電影類型，在此種電影中，男女主角可能身陷浪漫的追求攻勢，或是試圖補救並挽回婚姻，他們周圍伴隨著一群古怪的角色，劇中會快速發生一連串不可思議的事件，角色的對話通常節奏很快而且唇槍舌劍互相譏刺，最後多以有情人終成眷屬收場；瘋狂喜劇特別盛行於西元1930年代中期至1940年代之間。
