英文....	Comics intended for an adult readership, dealing with socially outrageous subject matter such as sex, violence, drugs, and political dissent. Originating the mid-1960s in the U.S. and Great Britain, they were produced cheaply, mainly by the artists, and tended to be distributed through nontraditional channels.
荷蘭語....	Stripboekjes die bedoeld zijn voor volwassen lezers en waarin controversiële maatschappelijke thema's ter sprake komen, zoals seks, geweld, drugs en politiek afwijkende meningen. Dergelijke strips ontstonden halverwege de jaren 60 van de 20ste eeuw in de Verenigde Staten en Groot-Brittannië. Ze werden goedkoop geproduceerd, vaak door de kunstenaars zelf, en werden doorgaans niet via traditionele kanalen verspreid.
西班牙語....	Cómics destinados a lectores de publicaciones adultas, que tratan de temas socialmente inconvenientes como el sexo, la violencia, las drogas y la disensión política. Se originaron a mediados de 1960 en los Estados Unidos de América y en Gran Bretaña, eran producidos a bajo precio, principalmente por los artistas y solían ser distribuídos por canales no tradicionales.
