使用發酵狗糞製成的溶劑，處理已除毛的皮革或毛皮，除去不需要的成分，給予皮革成品柔軟度與柔韌度的水場作業過程。與使用鴿糞或雞糞所進行的「酵解」相近，但此酵素更為強效，故處理過程更加快速，相較之下也較易對皮革或毛皮造成損傷。

鞣法

英文....	The beamhouse operation of treating unhaired hides or skins with a solution of fermented dog manure to remove undesirable constituents and impart a quality of softness and flexibility to the final leather. It is a similar process to bating, which involves pigeon or hen manure, but faster, as the solution is more powerful, and also possibly more damaging to the hides or skins.
西班牙語....	La operación del abono fermentado de perro al cuero, para quitar componentes indeseables y para impartir una suavidad y flexibilidad al cuero final. Es un proceso similar a la rebaja, que implica el abono de la paloma o de la gallina, pero más rápidamente, pues la solución es más de gran alcance y también más perjudicial .
