腦鞣 brain tannage
範圍註 ：
以含有磷化合物的大腦組織處理毛皮或皮革，讓油脂氧化成為醛類物質。由於此作法為可回復的過程，因此並非真正的鞣製，此外，製成材質的收縮溫度不比處理前來得高。

| 英文.... | Treating skins or hides with brain tissue which contains phosphorous compounds that oxidize oils to aldehydes. The process is not considered true tanning, as it is reversible, and the shrinkage temperature of the resulting material is not raised above that of the original. |
