Appointed or elected assemblies or boards of parishioners who originally met in the vestry of the parish church for the purpose of deliberating or legislating upon the affairs of the parish or upon certain temporal matters connected with the church. Often used particularly for such boards in the Church of England, the Anglican Church of Canada, and the American Episcopalian Church. For similar boards in Catholic Churches in French-speaking regions of Canada, use "fabriques."
荷蘭語....	Colleges van benoemde of gekozen leken die tijdelijk de leiding hebben over gemeenten van de anglicaanse kerk in Groot-Brittannië, de Verenigde Staten of Canada. Gebruik 'kerkfabrieken' voor dergelijke colleges in de katholieke kerken in Franstalige gebieden.
西班牙語....	Consejo de legos designados o electos quienes están a cargo de la administración temporal de las parroquias en la Iglesia Inglesa, la Iglesia Anglicana de Canadá, y la Iglesia Episcopálica de América. Para consejos similares en la Iglesia Católica de regiones de habla francesa, use "junta de".
