除了當做顏料之外，亦具雕塑品價值的顏料塊，另加以雕刻塑形製成。非洲剛果民主共和國的庫巴人（Kuba），在糊狀的紅木染料中摻入其他原料，如沙子、水和棕櫚油製成的雕塑，為最著名的例子，乃為用來紀念已故原主的象徵物，之後還可沾溼，於其上摩擦，除去顏料後繼續使用。利用顏料塊刻塑成的雕塑品，也見於其他文化，包括遠古時代，有些學者認為，尼安德塔人也會雕刻顏料塊。

英文....	Carved or sculpted blocks of pigment that are valued as sculpture rather than, or in addition to, for their use as a pigment. Prominent examples are those made by made by the Kuba peoples of the African nation of the Democratic Republic of Congo from dried tukula paste mixed with other ingredients such as sand, water, and palm oil. They are used as commemorative tokens of their deceased owners, and may be moistened and rubbed to remove pigment for use. The creation of carved blocks of pigment is also known in other cultures, including very ancient examples; some scholars believe Neanderthals carved pigment blocks.
荷蘭語....	Gebeeldhouwde objecten in verschillende vormen, vaak bedekt met ingewikkeld snijwerk, gemaakt van een pasta van gedroogde tukula vermengd met andere ingrediënten zoals zand, water en palmolie, door de Kubavolkeren in de Democratische Republiek Congo (voorheen Zaïre). Ze worden gebruikt als gedenktekens voor hun overleden eigenaren. Het pigment kan gebruikt worden door de blokken te bevochtigen en dan te wrijven.
西班牙語....	Objetos esculpidos en varias formas, a menudo cubiertos con tallas intrincadas, realizadas de pasta de tukula seca mezclada con otros ingredientes tales como arena, agua o aceite de palma, fabricados por el pueblo Kuba de la nación africana de la República Democrática del Congo.
