英文....	Lifesaving boats designed for launching and beaching through the surf, and generally double-ended, with marked sheer, high ends, an outboard rudder, and sometimes a sailing rig; early models were rowed, later ones had auxiliary power.
荷蘭語....	Reddingsboten die zijn ontworpen om door de branding te water gelaten en op het strand neergezet te worden. Ze zijn over het algemeen aan voor- en achterzijde gelijk met een aanzienlijke zeeg, hoge stevens, een buitenboordroer en soms tuigage voor zeilen; vroegere modelen werden nog geroeid, maar nieuwere beschikken over een hulpmotor. Geen Nederlands equivalent. Zie 'reddingsboten'.
西班牙語....	Bote salvavidas diseñado para su botadura y varado a través del oleaje, generalmente de doble timón, con marcado arrufo, altos extremos y timón fuera borda y, a veces, equipado con velas. Modelos tempranos fueron de remo, más tarde tuvieron energía auxiliar.
