Mechanical models of the solar system that demonstrate the movements of some or all of the planets around the sun, sometimes also of moons around their planets, in their correct relative periods, by means of an elaborate, usually clockwork, system. For the buildings housing devices used to project celestial images or for the mechanisms themselves, use "planetaria."
荷蘭語....	Schaalmodellen (door een raderwerk in beweging gebracht) van het zonnestelsel die de beweging van enkele of alle planeten rond de zon uitbeelden, en soms ook de beweging van manen rond hun planeten. Gebruik 'planetaria (gebouwen)' voor gebouwen waarin een projectietoestel is geplaatst dat de bewegingen van de hemellichamen in het zonnestelsel uitbeeldt door middel van projectie tegen de witte binnenwand van een koepel of voor die projectietoestellen zelf.
西班牙語....	Modelos mecánicos del sistema solar que demuestran los movimientos de algunos o todos los planetas alrededor del sol, algunas veces también de las lunas alrededor de los planetas en sus periodos relativos correctos, por medio de un elaborado sistema, usualmente de relojería. Para el edificio que alberga los artefactos usados para proyectar imágenes celestiales o para el mecanismo en sí mismo, use "planetarium".
