越野滑雪 cross-country skiing
範圍註 ：
在陡峭不平的原野上行進的滑雪休閒活動，與從高山上往下滑的滑雪不同。越野滑雪發源於斯堪地那維亞國家（北歐國家），是一種運輸方式也是休閒活動。越野滑雪與滑降滑雪不同處在於，越野滑雪的滑雪板較為窄長輕便，板上皮靴固定裝置給滑雪者的鞋跟和滑板間留了活動空間，其滑雪桿也較高山滑雪所使用的來得長。

The activity developed in Scandinavian countries as a means of travel as well as recreation.
