羅馬戰劍 gladii
範圍註 ：
用來泛指一種羅馬劍的詞彙，短小、具有雙邊刃口、尖銳。原本僅用來刺擊，劍柄沒有護手，為步兵團所使用。隨著時間演進，逐漸發展出劍刃較長，帶有小型護手的劍種，並且可用來進行刺擊與砍擊。
