Voertuigen op drie wielen, meestal met een lichte raamwerkconstructie, die ofwel door de berijder zelf of met een klein motortje worden aangedreven en die werden gebouwd na 1869; gebruik 'vélocipèdes' voor soortgelijke lichte, met de hand aangedreven voertuigen zonder comfort- of snelheidsverhogende kenmerken, die werden gebouwd tot ongeveer 1870. Gebruik 'driewielers (auto's)' of 'autoscooters' voor auto's met drie wielen.
西班牙語....	Vehículo de tres ruedas, generalmente de estructura abierta y ligera, que puede estar accionado tanto porenergía, como por el propio conductor o por un pequeño motor. Construido después de 1869. Para vehículos similares, de peso ligero, accionados manualmente, pero sin comodidades o dispositivos de aumento de velocidad, construidos antes de 1870, prefiera "velocípedo”. Para automóviles de tres ruedas, use tanto "triciclo (vehículo)” como "motocarro".
