大齋期 Lent
範圍註 ：
西方基督教教堂中，復活節前進行懺悔準備期間，主要包括大齋首日（Ash Wednesday）到復活節前夕的四十天，指在模仿耶穌基督於野外禁食和懺悔的時期。 在東正教教堂，大齋期在復活節七週前的星期一開始，在復活節前九天的星期五結束。 這類「大齋期」允許星期六和星期日作為齋戒日。

In Eastern churches Lent begins Monday seven weeks before Easter and ends the Friday 9 days before Easter. This "Great Lent" allows that Saturdays and Sundays are relaxed fast days. |
