英文....Automated information services which search for, locate, and retrieve data, either directly or in the form of citations to data sources, from electronically stored databases in response to users' queries. For specifically those services which provide direct answers to users' queries, or which provide direct access to sources of the needed information, prefer "online reference services."
荷蘭語....Geautomatiseerde informatiediensten die rechtstreeks of op grond van verwijzingen uit gegevensbronnen gegevens zoeken, localiseren en opvragen uit elektronisch opgeslagen databanken als antwoord op vragen van gebruikers. Men geeft de voorkeur aan 'on line referentiediensten' voor met name die diensten die zorgen voor directe antwoorden op vragen van gebruikers of die zorgen voor directe toegang tot bronnen die de nodige gegevens bevatten.
西班牙語....Servicios de información automatizados que buscan, localizan yrecuperan datos tanto directamente o en la forma de cita bibliográfica de fuentes de datos, desde bases de datos almacenadas electrónicamente en respuesta de las consultas de los usuarios. Para aquellos servicios específicos que proveen respuestas directas a las consultas de los usuarios, o que proveen acceso directo a las fuentes de la información requerida preferir servicio de referencia en línea.
