金石學 epigraphy
範圍註 ：
古老銘刻的釋義研究，包括雕刻在石頭、黏土、金屬或其他堅硬表面上之書寫痕跡、圖像以及不規則的刮痕。若該研究針對較普遍的古老書寫形式，則稱之為「古文書學」。
