基督教教堂中主教的座位或寶座，主教坐於其上主持莊嚴神聖的宗教儀式。此種椅子的外形源自古羅馬的主教座位。主教座椅最初置於教堂東端半圓或多角形後堂的中央，座椅的左或右側置有數張高度較低的長凳，協助主教的神職人員就坐在這些長凳上面。

卡西德瑞椅(羅馬椅)

英文....	Chairs or thrones of a bishop in his cathedral church, in which he presides at solemn functions. The form is based on the ancient Roman cathedra. Originally the bishop's cathedra stood in the center of the apse, flanked at a lower level on either side by the benches where the assisting priests sat.
