城市美化運動 City Beautiful Movement
範圍註 ：
指十九世紀晚期至二十世紀早期，由一群美國建築師和景觀建築師所領導的一項運動，希望能透過市政改革與美化，而非社會改革的方式，提升美國都市計畫和城市發展的水準及聲望。受到1893年芝加哥世界博覽會（World's Columbian Exposition）的推動，該運動確保了都會公園系統的積極發展，並在許多主要都市成立推動改革的藝術社團。

With the driving force of the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago (1893), the movement secured the active development of metropolitan park systems and the establishment of reform-motivated art societies in major cities. |
