寂靜主義 quietism
範圍註 ：
一般指相信神僅能在完全安靜及被動者身上起作用；因此，此教派信徒應自人世抽離，並克制慾望。亦特指基督教神秘主義的形態，尤其是中世紀及十七世紀於西班牙及法國爭論的宗教趨勢。

| 英文.... | Refers generally to the belief that God only works in a person who is completely quiet and passive; religious followers should therefore withdraw from the everyday world and suppress their will. It also refers more specifically to forms of Christian mysticism, particularly to trends in the Middle Ages and 17th-century controversies in Spain and France. |
| 荷蘭語.... | Verwijst naar het geloof dat God zich alleen manifesteert in een persoon die volledig rustig en passief is. Religieuze volgelingen dienen zich daarom terug te trekken uit de alledaagse wereld en dienen hun wil te onderdrukken. De term verwijst ook meer specifiek naar vormen van christelijk mysticisme, in het bijzonder naar bewegingen in de Middeleeuwen en 17de-eeuwse controversen in Spanje en Frankrijk. |
