英文....Plate armor pieces for the left hand and arm, protecting the hand and forearm up to or slightly beyond the elbow. They were used from the 15th through the 17th century, particularly in jousts.
荷蘭語....Pantserstukken van plaatjes voor de linkerhand en -arm die de hand en onderarm beschermen tot aan de elleboog of net daarboven. Ze werden gebruikt van de 15e tot in de 17e eeuw, vooral bij steekspelen.
