利用斜投影創作的圖則或其他媒材的作品，其投射線維持平行。一般而言，兩空間軸與投影面或繪圖表面平行，而第三軸則以大於九十度的角度投射至平面。至於在平面上描繪物件的角度，其平行後退的線條最終趨合的繪圖，則使用「斜角透視」一詞。

英文....	Refers to drawings, or works in another medium, created by oblique projection, in which parallel lines remain parallel. Typically two spatial axes are parallel to the plane of projection or drawing surface, and a third axis is projected at an angle other than 90 degrees to the plane. For drawings in which objects are depicted at an angle to the picture plane but parallel receding lines converge, use "oblique perspectives."
荷蘭語....	Verwijst naar tekeningen gemaakt in schuin perspectief, waarin parallelle lijnen parallel blijven. Twee ruimtelijke assen zijn meestal parallel aan het projectie- of tekenvlak, en een derde as wordt op het vlak geprojecteerd onder een hoek die geen rechte hoek is. Gebruik 'schuinperspectieftekeningen' voor tekeningen waarin objecten worden afgebeeld onder een hoek ten opzichte van het beeldvlak, maar waarin parallelle wijkende lijnen samenkomen.
西班牙語....	Se refiere a dibujos creados por proyección oblicua, en que líneas paralelas permanecen paralelas. Usualmente dos ejes espaciales están paralelos al plano de proyección o superficie de dibujo y un tercer eje es proyectado en otro ángulo distinto a 90 grados del plano. Para dibujos en que los objetos son representados en ángulo al plano de la imagen, pero las líneas paralelas que bajan convergen, use "perspectiva oblicua".
