英文....	Any of various tools, usually long bars or strips of wood or metal, having straight and true edges and used for drawing or cutting accurate straight lines or for testing levelness or the evenness of surfaces. For, usually shorter, instruments used primarily as guides for drawing lines, straight or curved, use "rulers (measuring tools)."
荷蘭語....	Diverse gereedschappen, meestal lange staven of repen van hout of metaal, die zuiver rechte kanten hebben en worden gebruikt om nauwkeurige rechte lijnen te tekenen of te snijden, of om de vlakheid of gelijkmatigheid van oppervlakken te controleren. Gebruik 'linialen (geleidingsgereedschap)' voor meestal kortere voorwerpen die voornamelijk worden gebruikt als geleiders om rechte of gebogen lijnen te tekenen.
