第一過渡期(埃及) First Intermediate period(Egyptian)
範圍註 ：
指自西元前2150年至西元前2018年間於埃及發展的時代，包含了第七王朝至第十王朝；某些研究資料則認為此時期始於西元前2130年的第九王朝。在此時期當中，權力從孟斐斯（Memphis）城經由赫拉克利奧波利斯（Heracleopolis）之後轉移至底比斯（Thebes）。一般而言，此時期狀況相當晦暗難解而又混亂無序，也因此所存的藝術與建築十分稀少。
