薩摩燒 Satsuma
範圍註 ：
十七世紀早期至今，於九州南部鹿兒島縣（之前的薩摩藩）的燒窯製作的陶瓷風格，應用於茶道及日常生活。包括使用灰色、亮棕黑或黃色釉彩，表面有細緻顆粒的「鯊魚皮」器皿、十七世紀前半葉的鐵釉彩茶具、西元1700年起，飾以釉下彩氧化鐵繪畫的泰國撒灣加洛器皿，以及始於十八世紀晚期的釉上彩琺琅。

| 英文.... | Refers generally to a variety of styles of ceramics used for tea ceremonies and every-day use, made at kiln sites in Kagoshima Prefecture (formerly the Satsuma domain) in southern Kyushu, from the early 17th century to the present. Styles range from "sharkskin" ware with a grayish, light sepia or yellowish glaze and fine granular surface to fine iron-glazed teawares in the first half of the 17th century, copies of Sawankhalok ware, a Thai ware decorated with underglazed iron-oxide painting, from c. 1700, and overglaze enamels from the late 18th century. |
