由各種大葉藻屬海草的細長葉子所組成或者是衍生而來的材料，通常經過風乾，做為包裝材料、填充襯墊、編織材料，也供製造壁板與牆壁隔音材料等用途。注意勿和也被稱為「鰻草」（或線帶草，tape grass）的淡水植物苦草屬（Vallisneria）混為一談。

英文....	Material comprising or derived from the long narrow leaves of species of seagrass in the genus Zostera, usually dried and used for packing material, stuffing cushions, as well as for weaving and in the manufacture of wall boards and in wall insulation. Not to be confused with plants of the freshwater genus Vallisneria, also called eelgrass (or tape grass).
