紫黃貝殼大理石 broccatello
範圍註 ：
來自西班牙托爾托薩（Tortosa）的美觀貝殼大理石，目前仍持續被開採。其主要顏色範圍自微紅紫色至黃色，色彩隨著內部蝸牛佔比而有不同。黃色代表軟體動物的顏色，淡紫色則代表其沈入之海床。紫黃貝殼大理石以往大量用於義大利羅馬及那普勒斯教堂的表面裝飾。

| 英文.... | A handsome shell marble from Tortosa, Spain, where it is still quarried. Its predominant color ranges from a reddish lilac to yellow, the color being dependent on the quantity of embedded snails: the yellow represents the mollusk and the lilac represents the seabed in which it sank. Broccatello was used extensively as surface ornamentation in churches in Rome and Naples, Italy. |
| 荷蘭語.... | Een aantrekkelijk schelpmarmer uit het Spaanse Tortosa, waar het nog steeds wordt gewonnen. De hoofdkleur varieert van roodachtig lila tot geel, afhankelijk van de hoeveelheid slakken die het bevat. De gele kleur wordt bepaald door de weekdieren en het lila door de zeebedding waarin het is verzonken. Broccatello werd veelvuldig gebruikt als oppervlakteversiering in kerken in Rome en Napels. |

Sus colores predominantes varían de lila rojizo a amarillo, dependiendo el color de la cantidad de caracoles incrustados: el amarillo representa el molusco y el lila, el lecho marino en el cual se acumularon. El broccatello fue utilizado abundamentemente en decoración de superficies en iglesias de Roma y Nápoles, Italia. |
