硬玉 jadeite
範圍註 ：
含有鋁酸鈉矽石的礦物，通常含有少量的鐵、鈣和鎂。硬玉為較具價值之玉種，顏色從淡綠到暗綠皆有，通常稱為「玉」。軟玉是另一種被稱為「玉」的礦物。因呈半透明如玻璃，硬玉受到高度珍視。主要見於中國、緬甸（Myanmar，前稱Burma）和墨西哥。

It constitutes the more valuable variety of jade, ranging in color from pale to dark green that is commonly called jade; neprhite is the other mineral called "jade."
