探溝 trenches
範圍註 ：
長而窄，通常側邊陡斜的土地挖方，用來安置水管、纜線或地基。該詞彙亦可用來指具防禦功能的挖方，特別是將挖出的土堆在前方以作為阻礙物。至於未將挖出的土作為附加防護的防禦性挖方，則稱之為「壕塹」或「壕溝」。
