英文....	Refers to relatively isolated places with facilities for personnel habitation on site and for conducting on-site observations of natural phenomena in specific fields. Distinct from "experiment stations" which are primarily for research and experimenting and generally are not physically isolated.
荷蘭語....	Wordt gebruikt voor relatief afgelegen plaatsen met voorzieningen voor huisvesting van de staf aldaar en voor het ter plekke uitvoeren van observaties van natuurlijke verschijnselen in een bepaald veld. Te onderscheiden van 'proefstations' die vooral worden gebruikt voor onderzoek en experimenten en die meestal geen afgelegen ligging hebben.
