英文....	Refers to exterior faces of a building which are substantially in one plane and seem to have been designed with special regard to their conspicuousness or association with entrance. Distinct from "elevations (building divisions)," which may constitute any side or face of a building or large interior space.
荷蘭語....	Verwijst naar de buitengevels van een gebouw die zich nadrukkelijk in één vlak bevinden en die speciaal lijken te zijn ontworpen om de aandacht te trekken of de aandacht op de entreepartij te vestigen. Te onderscheiden van 'gevels (naar locatie)', waarbij het om iedere zijde of ieder aanzicht van een gebouw of grote inwendige ruimte kan gaan.
