今草 modern cursive script
範圍註 ：
始於漢末，是對章草的革新，傳由張芝所創，後由王羲之父子發展完善。特色為筆畫聯綴，書寫簡約流便，字形空間安排自由，富有動感。

《書斷》即載王獻之對父云：「古之章草，未能宏逸，頓異真體，合窮偽略之理，極草蹤之致，不若藁行之間，於往法固殊，大人宜改體」。

| 英文.... | Chinese script that evolved from the draft cursive script, and began to appear during the final years of the Han dynasty in the 2nd century CE. Its creation was accredited to Zhang Zhi and was later perfected by Wang Xizhi and his son Xianzhi in the 4th century CE. It is characterized by accelerated writing, continuous strokes, fluid movements, and expressiveness. |
