英文.... | Decorative motifs often found in Chinese and Japanese art which feature tendrils and spirals of climbing plants. They are seen on many objects including textiles, ceramics, metal work, lacquerware, and sculptural and architectural detailing. Literally "Chinese grass motif" this term is short for the longer "karakusamon" and is sometimes used interchangeably with "karahanamon", meaning "Chinese floral motif". |
