針鼴(目) Tachyglossa(order)
範圍註 ：
針鼴目動物與鴨嘴獸是唯一行卵生的哺乳類動物。雌性針鼴會產下一顆表面如皮革的軟殼蛋，並將其直接放置於育兒袋中。育兒袋中並沒有乳頭，但是經過孵化後，幼小的針鼴會從母親的兩個乳腺孔吸啜母乳。
