依照傳統日式燈籠製作工藝所製成的光雕或燈籠。該名稱出自野口勇(Isamu Noguchi),用以指稱他利用桑樹皮製成的糊紙所設計並在日本岐阜縣生產的光雕作品。該燈籠被視為是結合雕塑與實質功用的作品。

英文....Illuminated sculptures, or lanterns, that are based on traditional Japanese lantern-making craft. Coined by Isamu Noguchi to describe the objects he designed and that are manufactured in Gifu, Japan, from paper made from mulberry tree bark; and that are considered to be a union of sculpture and functional object.
