英文....	A waxy, odorous substance of marbled ashy color produced in the intestines of the sperm whale, and often found floating in tropical seas, or on the seashore. Formerly used as an ingredient in perfumery to prevent evaporation, more recently it has been replaced in this function by synthetic substances.
荷蘭語....	Wasachtige, sterk geurende substantie die door de darmen van de potvis wordt geproduceerd en die vaak drijvend op het zeeoppervlak of langs de kust wordt aangetroffen. Vroeger werd amber gebruikt als bestanddeel van parfums om vervluchtiging te voorkomen. Tegenwoordig worden daar synthetische vervangingsmiddelen voor gebruikt.
西班牙語....	Una sustancia cerosa y olorosa producida por los intestinos de la ballena macho y muchas veces se encuentra flotando sobre el mar o en el bordemar. Antiguamente se empleaba como ingrediente en perfumería para prevenir evaporación y más recientemente esta función ha sido reemplazada por sustancias sintéticas.
