英文....Threads or strands applied to an object as decoration, used especially with reference to glass threads used principally to decorate the necks, stems, and rims of drinking glasses and other objects. Threading is distinguished from "trailings" in that threading creates an independent, partially free-standing, decoration attached to the vessel, whereas trailings are simple lines of decoration on the surface of the glass.
荷蘭語....Draden of strengen die als decoratie op een object worden aangebracht, in het bijzonder met betrekking tot glasdraden als versiering van in hoofdzaak de hals, steel en rand van drinkglazen en andere objecten. Draadwerk dient te worden onderscheiden van ‘trailings’ (glasdraden), in die zin dat bij draadwerk een zelfstandige, deels vrijstaande decoratie op het vat wordt aangebracht, terwijl ‘trailings’ slechts bestaan uit eenvoudige decoratieve lijnen op het glasoppervlak.
