指用於盛裝或供應咖啡的器皿，其形似甕或同咖啡壺，沒有壺嘴，只有一個以上的龍頭以及一個桶塞。多以腳架或壺座支撐，可能附設加熱的設備，有時會做為整套咖啡器具中的配件。若是指泡咖啡時用來盛裝或供應熱水的甕形器皿則偏好使用「熱水壺」一詞，此種器皿也可能出現在整套咖啡器具中。

荷蘭語....	Urn- of peervormige kannen, niet met een tuit maar met één of meerdere kranen; ze staan op pootjes of op een opengewerkte voetrand. Meestal gebruikt voor koffie. Gebruik "theevazen' voor soortgelijke kannen voor thee. Gebruik 'heetwaterkraantjeskannen' voor ketels voor heet water.
西班牙語....	Vasijas destinadas a guardar o servir café, ya sea con la forma de una urna o de una cafetera y teniendo, en lugar de un pico, una o más llaves y un grifo; generalmente sustentadas sobre patas o una base, pudiendo contar con un artefacto para calentar. Pueden formar parte de un servicio de café. Prefiéra "urna de agua caliente" para vasijas con la forma de una urna para guardar o servir agua caliente al momento de servir el café, pudiendo también ser parte de un servicio de café.
