臼砲(加農砲) carronades
範圍註 ：
最初大約在一七七八年，由位於蘇格蘭法爾科克(Falkirk)的卡朗恩鑄鐵公司(Carron Iron Company)所製造的加農砲，一直到十九世紀晚期仍在使用。相對於其口徑而言，這種加農砲既短且輕，也沒有砲耳，主要用於船隻的近距離舷砲齊射。

| 英文.... | Cannons first manufactured at the Carron Iron Company at Falkirk, Scotland, around 1778 and continuing in use until the late 19th century. They were short and light in relation to their bore, had no trunnions, and were used mainly on ships for firing broadsides at short range. |
