範圍註 ：
懸臂椅被視為是現代家具的一項重大發展。Mart Stam運用氣管與凸緣創造了第一個實驗性模型，同時也發展出了無四個椅腳支撐的懸臂椅原理，後續的創新則允許使用管狀鋼鐵作為材料，其他設計師如Marcel Breuer以及Mies van der Rohe，則應用此一原理創造出自身的變化版本。
