英文....Refers to the style of ink painting which literally means "break ink," based on contrasts of tonal washes and darker washes, dots or lines. First refered to in Chinese texts in 847 CE, the style first appeared in Japan in the 14th century, continuing through the 17th century.
荷蘭語....Verwijst naar de stijl van inktschilderen die letterlijk 'breekinkt' betekent en is gebaseerd op contrasten van lichtere en donkere lagen, stippen of lijnen. Hiernaar werd het eerst verwezen in Chinese teksten in 847 n. Chr.; de stijl verscheen het eerst in Japan in de 14de eeuw en werd toegepast tot in de 17de eeuw.
