一種中國繪畫風格，畫風典範形成於十一世紀，其畫風傳統至少可於十世紀至二十世紀獲得見證。該畫派非由專業畫家或工匠所創立，而是由學者、文人所創立，為高教育程度的小眾作畫。此畫派結合繪畫、詩、書法，偏好工筆、單色或淡色，富文藝氣息，以抽象自然傳達個人對自然的高度看法。日本「南畫」的靈感即來自文人畫派。

文人畫(日本風格)

英文....	Refers to a style of Chinese painting, the ideals of which were formulated in the eleventh century, though the tradition is evident from at least the tenth century to the twentieth century. It was created by scholars and gentlemen, as opposed to professional painters or craftsmen, for a small, well-educated audience. It is characterized by the combination of painting, poetry, and calligraphy, with a preference for subtle brushwork, monochromatic or subdued coloring, high literary content, and the abstraction of natural forms to convey highly personal views of nature. It inspired the Japanese "Nanga" style.
荷蘭語....	Verwijst naar een Chinese schilderstijl, waarvan de idealen werden geformuleerd in de 11de eeuw, hoewel de traditie zich voordoet van ten minste de 10de tot de 20ste eeuw. De stijl werd ontwikkeld door onderzoekers en heren, in tegenstelling tot professionele schilders en ambachtslieden, voor een klein, hoog opgeleid publiek. De stijl kenmerkt zich door een combinatie van schilderkunst, poëzie, en kalligrafie, met een voorkeur voor een subtiele penseelvoering, monochroom of getemperd kleurgebruik, een hoog literair gehalte, en de abstractie van natuurlijke vormen om hoogst persoonlijke interpretaties van de natuur over te brengen. De Japanse ‘Nanga’-stijl is hierdoor geïnspireerd.
西班牙語....	Se refiere a un estilo de la pintura china, los ideales del cual fueron formulados en el siglo XI, aunque la tradición es evidente a partir por lo menos del X al XX. Fue creada por los eruditos y los caballeros, en comparación con pintores o artesanos profesionales, para una audiencia pequeña e instruida. Es caracterizada por la combinación de la pintura, poesía, y caligrafía, con una preferencia por el colorante monocromático o sometido, alto contenido literario, y la abstracción de formas naturales y altamente personales de la naturaleza. Inspiró el estilo japonés de "Nanga”.
