一種在二維平面上再現三維空間物體的投影方法，其中物體的主要表面與投影面平行，利用與投影面垂直的平行投射線投影成像。正射投影成像中，不會出現採用線性透視所會產生的前縮、比例關係變化或變形現象。正射投影法常用於繪製技術圖和建築工程圖，可繪平面圖、剖面圖及立面圖，也可用於製作從太空觀看地球或其他天體的方位投影圖。

英文....	Refers to a technique for representing three-dimensional objects in two dimensions by using parallel projecting lines that are perpendicular to the plane of projection or picture surface. Principal surfaces of objects are parallel to the picture plane. It does not include foreshortening, shifts in scale and proportion, or other distortions that would be caused by employing linear perspective. It is often used for technical and architectural drawings, including plans, sections, and elevations. It is also used to create azimuthal projections of the Earth or another heavenly body as seen from space.
荷蘭語....	Verwijst naar een techniek voor het tweedimensionaal voorstellen van driedimensionale voorwerpen door gebruik van parallelle projectielijnen die loodrecht op het projectievlak of het beeldoppervlak staan. De belangrijkste oppervlakken lopen parallel aan het beeldvlak. Er is geen sprake van verkorting, veranderingen van schaal of proportie of andere vervormingen die worden veroorzaakt door het gebruik van lineair perspectief. Het wordt vaak gebruikt voor technische en architectonische tekeningen, zoals plattegronden, doorsneden en aanzichten. Het wordt ook gebruikt voor het creëren van azimutale projecties van de aarde of een ander hemellichaam, zoals dat vanuit de ruimte wordt gezien.
