指以俯視角度描繪建築物或任何物件，並以幾何圖形表現於水平面上的製圖、素描、印刷、電腦繪圖或其他媒材的作品。該詞彙特別用於指稱建築物或某一樓層、屋頂或建築部分等，在水平剖面上所有部件之相關位置，因而與垂直剖面或立面圖不同。該詞彙亦可用於指稱一項計畫的整套製圖或圖像，包括規劃圖本身以及其他製圖，如剖面圖。若泛指從上方俯視呈現建築物或基地的繪圖或照片，則使用「俯視圖」一詞。至於呈現地球局部表面的圖樣，則使用「地圖」或「詳圖（地圖）」等詞彙。

英文....	Refers to drawings, sketches, prints, computer graphics, or works in other media depicting a building or any object viewed from above, geometrically represented as projected on a horizontal plane. The term is particularly used to refer to drawings or other images showing the relative positions of all the parts of a building, or of the parts of any one floor, roof, or other part of a building in horizontal section; it is thus distinguished from vertical sections or elevations. The term can also be used collectively to refer to sets of drawings or other images for a project, including plans per se as well as other drawings, such as sections. For general reference to depictions or photographs showing structures or sites seen from directly above, use "plan views." For representations of portions of the Earth's surface use "maps" or "plans (maps)."
荷蘭語....	Verwijst naar tekeningen, schetsen of diagrammen van een object, waarbij het object wordt geprojecteerd op een plat, doorgaans horizontaal oppervlak. De term is vooral van toepassing op tekeningen of diagrammen waarop de relatieve posities van de delen van een gebouw te zien zijn, of van een verdieping van een gebouw, geprojecteerd op een horizontaal vlak. De term is ook te gebruiken voor een reeks tekeningen voor een project. Gebruik 'bovenaanzichten' om in het algemeen te verwijzen naar afbeeldingen of foto's van structuren of terreinen recht van boven gezien. Gebruik 'kaarten' of 'plattegronden (kaarten)' voor voorstellingen van delen van het aardoppervlak.
西班牙語....	Se refiere a dibujos, esbozos o diagramas de cualquier objeto, realizados por medio de una proyección sobre una superficie plana, usualmente un plano horizontal. El término es particularmente usado para referirse a dibujos o diagramas que muestran la posición relativa de las partes de un edificio o cualquiera de los pisos de un edificio proyectado sobre un plano horizontal. El término también puede ser utilizado para un conjunto de dibujos de un proyecto. Para referencia general de representación o fotografías que presenten estructuras o lugares vistos directamente desde arriba, use "vista plana".
