英文....Refers to that period primarily of decorative art that emerged in France ca. 1700 at the court of Louis XV, and dominated Europe until it was superseded by the Classical Revival in the late 18th century. The style is characterized by opulence, asymmetry, grace, gaiety, and a light palette of colors, in contrast to the heavier forms and darker colors of the Baroque.
荷蘭語....Verwijst hoofdzakelijk naar de periode van decoratieve kunst die zich rond 1700 in Frankrijk ontwikkelde aan het hof van Lodewijk XV, en die in heel Europa bepalend was totdat aan het einde van de 18de eeuw het neoklassiek opkwam. De stijl kenmerkt zich door opulentie, asymmetrie, sierlijkheid, vrolijkheid en een palet met lichte kleuren, in tegenstelling tot de zwaardere vormen en donkerder kleuren van de barok.
西班牙語....Se refiere a ese período principalmente de arte decorativo que surgió en Francia alrededor de 1700 en la corte de Luis XV, y que dominó Europa hasta que fuera reemplazado por el Renacimiento Clásico a fines del siglo XVIII. El estilo se caracteriza por su opulencia, asimetría, gracia, alegría, y una paleta de colores claros, en contraste con las formas más pesadas y los colores más oscuros del Barroco.
