卡塔班 Qataban
範圍註 ：
指自西元前1000年至西元1000年間，於阿拉伯半島南部，亦即現今葉門（Yemen）一帶發展興盛的卡塔班王國統治下的時代。此時代的藝術特色與當時阿拉伯南部諸王國（kingdoms of South Arabia）的發展有同樣風格，特別可見之於雕塑上，由於從宗教信仰與寺廟儀式獲得靈感，而呈現出一種結合高水準工藝技術的簡單設計。

The art of the period is characterized by a common style shared by the kingdoms of South Arabia at the time, seen particularly in sculpture displaying a simplicity of design combined with a high standard of workmanship, often inspired by religious devotions and temple ceremony. |
| 荷蘭語.... | Verwijst naar de periode van het eerste millennium vóór tot en met het eerste millennium na Christus, waarin het koninkrijk van Qataban floreerde in het zuiden van het Arabisch Schiereiland, in het gebied van het huidige Jemen.
