喀拉拉 Kerala
範圍註 ：
泛指源自南印度喀拉拉地區的畫派。至少自西元十五世紀始至十九世紀間，喀拉拉一地興起了各種不同的壁畫傳統，其中最廣泛且保存最完整的壁畫出現在科欽（Cochin）的默丹傑里宮（Mattancheri Palace）。於西元十八世紀創作的重要畫作，則包括出自帕德瑪那哈普蘭王宮（Padmanabhapuram）與奎那普蘭王宮（Krishnapuram）的繪畫。喀拉拉也出產細密畫。西元十八世紀的細密畫畫家採用了當時流行於南印度的後毘迦耶那迦羅傳統，此風格的特色包括：簡單的背景、具有表現力的線條與構圖。

A diverse tradition of wall painting flourished in Kerala from at least the 15th to the 19th centuries; the most extensive and best-preserved can be found at the Mattancheri Palace at Cochin. Important examples from the 18th century include paintings from the palaces of Padmanabhapuram and Krishnapuram.
